Terms of Service
Acceptance
By creating an account or using Luma ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and CraftedPxl, LLC ("we", "us", "our").
Description of service
Luma is an AI-assisted photography companion for Fujifilm, Canon, Nikon, and Sony shooters. It provides film simulation recipes, gear tracking, EXIF analysis, AI-powered tools, a community feed, and a personal photo journal.
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance.
Accounts
You must be 13 years or older to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at info@craftedpxl.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
Subscription plans & billing
Luma offers the following plans:

All billing is handled by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and is therefore the seller for your subscription. By subscribing you authorise Polar to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel, and you accept Polar’s terms in addition to these. Prices are shown in USD; as merchant of record, Polar determines and collects any sales tax or VAT due in your jurisdiction, which may be added at checkout.
Cancellation: Cancel any time from Settings → Subscription → “Billing settings & invoices”, which opens your billing portal at Polar. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period; we do not issue prorated refunds for unused time.
Refunds: If you experience a billing error, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share (e.g. copyrighted images without permission).
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in community features.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API or AI tools.
- Create fake accounts, spam, or manipulate community votes or ratings.
- Circumvent subscription restrictions or share paid-tier access.
- Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
Your content
You retain ownership of photos, journal entries, recipes, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content").
By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and will not share it publicly without your permission.
You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
AI tools
Luma's AI features are powered by third-party language and vision models. AI-generated output is provided for informational and creative assistance only — it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your specific situation.
Do not rely on AI output for critical photographic, technical, or professional decisions without your own verification. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Intellectual property
All software, design, brand assets, curated recipes, and editorial content within Luma (excluding Your Content) are the property of CraftedPxl, LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Use the Service at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CraftedPxl, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Data → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity, with reasonable notice where feasible.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CraftedPxl, LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
