Harvest Sun Kodachrome
A midsummer vintage recipe inspired by the warmth and color science of Kodachrome slide film from the 1960s–70s. This look captures the saturated yet slightly faded warmth of July afternoons — think roadside fruit stands, county fairs, dusty backroads, and sun-bleached Americana. The FL (Film) creative look provides an organic film base, while the lifted shadows (fade) and boosted warm tones create that unmistakable slide-film glow without going full desaturated. Best used between 10am–4pm in direct summer sun, especially on subjects with warm tones: wooden structures, aged signage, straw hats, citrus, and weathered textures. Pairs beautifully with manual primes at f/2.8–f/5.6.
