§ Fujifilm daily recipe
Tideline Copper Burn
A high-contrast coastal recipe built for the hazy last days of late summer, when the sun hangs low and the sea air thickens the light into something almost amber. Classic Chrome gives the scene a muted, faded-postcard base while Color Chrome Effect Strong clamps deep saturation into rocks, tide pools, and wet sand without letting colors blow out into artificiality. Pulled highlights prevent a blown-out sky while lifted shadows preserve detail in dark wet rocks and seaweed. The slight warm white balance shift pushes the haze into a copper-gold register. Best used at low tide in the golden hour window — rocky beaches, tide pools, breaking surf, and coastal cliff faces are where this recipe earns its name.
