Faded Summer Kodachrome
A sun-drenched vintage recipe inspired by overexposed Kodachrome slides from the 1960s–70s. Warm amber and golden tones dominate, with slightly lifted shadows and gently rolled highlights that give the impression of a photograph pulled from an old vacation album. The Classic Chrome simulation provides that signature faded-but-saturated quality — colors feel simultaneously warm and slightly muted, like a memory of summer rather than summer itself. Perfect for beach scenes, road trips, backyard gatherings, and any subject bathed in bright afternoon sun. The lifted shadows keep detail in darker areas while the reduced highlights tame harsh summer light without losing the sun-soaked warmth.
