Scorched Rock Meridian
Captures the raw, sun-bleached intensity of late-summer rock formations and cliff faces baking under a hazy midday sky. The high contrast carves deep shadows into crevices and cracks while the warm color tone amplifies the ochres, reds, and dusty tans of sun-scorched stone. Saturation is pushed just enough to separate mineral layers and lichen textures without going artificial. Ideal for shooting exposed ridgelines, canyon walls, boulders, and geological formations under a bright, haze-filtered sun between 10am and 3pm. The slightly elevated white balance renders the diffuse haze as a warm atmospheric wash rather than a cool veil, giving the scene a pressurized, heat-heavy feel.
