§ Canon daily recipe
Solar Geometry Blaze
Built for midsummer architecture shooting under harsh, unfiltered July sun. This recipe leans into the punishing contrast between deep shadow and brilliant light that geometric facades produce at midday in summer. Cranked saturation pulls the electric blues of glass curtain walls and the terracotta warmth of brick and concrete into vivid tension. Elevated sharpness carves clean edges into cornices, window grids, and structural lines. Best used between 10am–3pm when the sun is high and shadows fall short and hard — shooting upward at towers, colonnades, or tightly packed urban facades. Works especially well with buildings that feature strong color contrast: blue glass vs. warm stone, painted steel vs. raw concrete.
