Asphalt Haze Meridian

Captures the oppressive stillness of midsummer city streets at peak heat — bleached sidewalks, shimmering asphalt, and figures dissolved into the white glare of midday. Muted, slightly desaturated tones prevent the summer palette from becoming garish, while boosted contrast carves hard shadows under awnings and against concrete walls. The cooler white balance counteracts the warmth of the sun, pushing the scene toward a pale, silvery tension. Best used between 11am–2pm in dense urban environments: narrow alleys, crosswalks, bus stops, and market streets where heat distortion and human movement collide.
